Unfortunately my experience was far from great. I came in bought hair from them and this was the state of the lace after 2 months. It was shedding from day one and I didn’t complain because well that’s unfortunately what I bought. But a balding lace after 2 months was ridiculous. When I bought it in they lie to me that they’ll give me feedback by end of business and ignore my calls and messages. Also lie that they can’t replace the frontal because they only come in next month but they sold me a frontal. So to me unfortunately they are really a bunch of liars. I came in after 2 days and they lie to me saying they sent me a message and they’re making silly excuses for the shedding and the balding of the wig. I have plenty wigs that I alternate and I’m used to buying new lace every one or two years but this is new.

Very disappointing experience at Penthouse Hair Studio. My daughter went there for a wig installation and had a specific style in mind. Unfortunately, the stylist did not seem confident or capable of achieving the style she requested. When we politely explained that we were unhappy with the result, instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally, the stylist responded with a very poor attitude. What made the experience even worse was that at one point she went to the back and appeared to laugh about the situation with her colleagues. As paying customers, that felt incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. The overall attitude and level of customer service were atrocious. We also got the distinct impression that certain clients — particularly influencers or celebrities — receive a completely different level of attention and treatment compared with ordinary paying customers. For a salon that presents itself as a premium hair studio, I expected professionalism, skill, courtesy and a genuine willingness to correct something when a client is unhappy. Sadly, that was not our experience at all. I would not recommend Penthouse Hair Studio based on the service we received. Good customer service should apply to every customer, regardless of who they are or how many followers they have.

had an amazing first-time experience at Penthouses Beauty Studio yesterday for a makeup session. I was about 5 to 10 minutes late due to road construction, but the receptionist called to reassure me about their 20-minute grace period and made me feel incredibly welcome the moment I arrived. My makeup artist, Momo, was so kind and attentive, even offering to adjust things to ensure I was completely happy with my look. While giving high-quality service is technically just doing their job, finding this level of genuine care and respect for the business is rare in South Africa today. It is truly worth acknowledging.
