What DealHunters is

DealHunters lists discounts from South African online stores. We aren't a store: we don't sell products, take payments, or handle deliveries. Purchases happen on the retailer's own site under their terms.

Price and availability disclaimer

Prices, "was" prices, discounts and stock can change at any time. Although we work hard to hide discounts that look misleading, we can't guarantee that any listing is accurate or current. Always confirm the final price and availability on the retailer's website before buying. Trademarks and product images belong to their owners.

Price drop radar and alerts

The price drop radar and alerts highlight unusually large price drops. Prices can change or be corrected by the store at any time, and a store may cancel or decline an order at its listed price under its own terms. We don't guarantee that any price shown or alerted will be available when you visit the store. Alerts are limited to a few per day and you can switch them off at any time on the Alerts page.

Merchant promotions

Some deals are submitted by the store itself and are labelled "Merchant promo". They must meet the same rules as every other deal (a real discount of at least 10% and R20 off a believable regular price) and are reviewed before they are listed. Merchants can't pay for placement or a ranking boost, and merchant promotions are not shown on the price drop radar or radar alerts. Merchants are responsible for the accuracy of their prices, dates and stock, and we may remove a promotion or merchant account at any time.

Links to stores

Links to retailers take you to third-party sites we don't control. Some links may in future earn us a commission at no cost to you; this never affects which deals are shown.

Your account

Keep your password secure and use a unique one. Don't misuse the service: no automated access to this site, attempts to break security, or creating accounts for others without permission. We may suspend accounts that do.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows (including the Consumer Protection Act), we aren't liable for losses arising from reliance on listed prices or from third-party sites.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
