Traveler warning I booked one night through Booking.com for October 4, 2026, and at the same time extended my stay from October 5 to October 19, 2026. After the bookings were confirmed and the payments had been charged to my account, the property owner messaged me asking me to cancel all of them. This put me in a difficult situation, especially since, according to Booking.com’s policy, the refund may take 7 to 12 days. I need this money. I’m sharing my experience so other travelers can be cautious, check the booking details and cancellation policy before paying, and avoid facing a similar situation.
