Black Friday data and contract deals

21Days00Hrs00Min00Sec

Data, SIM, router and contract tickets for 27 November 2026. We do not invent a carrier grid.

Tracked data & contract-related deals

What to expect

Black Friday 2026 is 27 November. Vodacom, MTN and Telkom dominate this cluster (data bundles, SIM cards, LTE routers, device contracts). Those offers live on carrier sites and change by ID number. We do not have a supermarket-style feed of every prepaid bundle. This page only lists products whose title mentions a carrier, contract, data SIM, starter pack, prepaid, MiFi or router — not ordinary Dual SIM / eSIM handsets. If that set is empty, we say so.

Is it really a deal?

A contract headline is a monthly payment, not a cash price. We check each price against that item's own history and only list a deal when today's price is genuinely lower. Listed “was” prices that we have never seen charged, or that jumped just before the sale, are left out. We never promote price errors. We will not reprint a carrier poster we cannot verify.

Tips

Read the term, the once-off, and whether the handset is locked. Compare the cash iPhone or Samsung page before you sign. Cell C appears in older searches; same honesty rule. FlySafair and other travel deals are out of scope.

Questions

Does Vodacom have Black Friday deals?
Most years, on data and selected devices. We only list a Vodacom-related product when we have a verifiable price. Check Vodacom for SIM-only deals we cannot see.
Does MTN have Black Friday?
Typically yes. Same limit: our grid is not the MTN app. It is products we price-check.
What about Telkom Black Friday deals?
Telkom usually joins the week. Device + data bundles are easy to misunderstand; we will not summarise a bundle we have not priced.
Are Black Friday phone contracts a good idea?
Only if you wanted the contract anyway. A “free” handset is paid in the monthly. Compare the cash price on the phones and iPhone pages first.
