- Compare the sale price with what the item cost in the weeks before. We record prices ourselves and only call it a deal when today's price is genuinely lower.
- What is a fake Black Friday discount?
- A 'was' price that was raised shortly before the sale, so the discount looks bigger than it is. We flag these and leave them out of our deal lists.
